This policy explains how Emily pets handles information submitted through this website. It applies to business inquiries, direct contact, and basic website measurement.
Information we collect
When you send an inquiry, we receive your name, company, email address, optional WhatsApp number, country or region, product interest, estimated quantity, message, source page, referring page, and campaign attribution included in the page URL.
For abuse prevention, the service temporarily processes a hashed network identifier, an inquiry fingerprint, an idempotency key hash, delivery status, and a server-generated receipt number. These controls are designed not to store the inquiry text as a separate website database record.
If Google Analytics 4 is configured, the site may collect limited technical and aggregated usage events. Inquiry analytics events do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or message text.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to understand your sourcing request, prepare relevant follow-up questions, communicate about products and packaging, create a traceable receipt, and maintain the business conversation in our enterprise email and CRM systems.
We do not sell inquiry information. We may share necessary details with service providers or production partners only when needed to evaluate or fulfill your request.
Processors and delivery
The website sends a validated inquiry through its own API to two configured destinations: the enterprise email delivery service and the CRM or approved business-automation endpoint. Both destinations must acknowledge the submission before the website displays a confirmed receipt number.
Service-provider categories may include website hosting, enterprise email delivery, CRM or business automation, Redis-based security storage, and Google Analytics 4 when enabled. These providers process data only for the relevant hosting, delivery, security, measurement, or business-record purpose under their own contractual and security controls.
No internet transmission is completely secure. Please avoid submitting passwords, payment card details, or confidential formulas through the general inquiry form.
Retention
The website application does not keep a separate full-text inquiry database copy. The enterprise mailbox and CRM retain the business record according to the configured company retention policies, applicable contracts, and legal requirements.
Hashed rate-limit identifiers are retained for up to 15 minutes. The idempotency fingerprint, receipt number, and channel-delivery status are retained for up to 24 hours to prevent duplicate submissions and safely retry a failed channel. Aggregate delivery and failure counters are retained for up to 90 days by default; hosting logs may follow the hosting provider's operational retention schedule.
Your choices and contact
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete inquiry information, or object to non-essential processing, subject to applicable legal and business-record requirements. Contact emily@emilypets.com with the subject 'Privacy Request'.
